SPARKED BY CONVERSATIONS AT AN ITALIAN VEGAN EATERY AND CREATED AT AN EXTRA SPECIAL LOCATION
THE CONNECTION: After being wowed many times by the vegan Italian offerings from Fed By Water, conversation is sparked with the blonde lady that I have seen many times there. I found myself wondering “what’s the connection between her and this amazing place?” I then find out that Zoe (The blonde lady) is actually a co-owner of Fed By Water.
On one of my regular visits to Fed, we share a conversation and quickly discover that there is a shared passion for people and creativity. It becomes obvious that one day we will create something special together.
“You should come and see my indoor farm / HQ for my charity that is based around the corner” This is how the plan for this story started. On my first visit to Full Petal Jacket charity HQ, I was blown away by what I saw! A beautiful, large house filled to the brim with plants and flowers, aquaponic plants and growing vegetables. There were Chickens in the garden and huge carp in what I suspect what was once the living room.
I had to create something special in the amazing Indoor Farm and the choice of person to be photographed was an easy one. A few weeks earlier, by chance, I met Ifrica who was working in a restaurant in Kings Cross.
We had all the pieces in place: Our models Ifrica (a Portuguese dance instructor now based in London) and Patsy (the chicken that also doubles as a Vegan lifestyle mascot, proving that animals can be enjoyed just as much by staying off our plates). We had our host and head plant whisperer Zoe (our host: Co-Owner at Fed By Water and owner of Full Petal Jacket) and Daphne (on hand to help make the production go smoothly and also to satisfy her obsession with plants).
We had a great time capturing this story and it was a joy to watch Ifrica and Patsy get to know each other. Thank you for hosting us Zoe!
